 Dental Insurance

The office will gladly submit any insurance and are providers for BlueCross BlueShield, Met-Life, Southland, and United Concordia as well as Care Credit. Most dental insurance providers only contribute to the cost of fundamental treatments, such as traditional dentures or x-rays. Advanced restorative care such as dental implants almost always requires an out-of-pocket investment. We will do our best to help you navigate your insurance coverage, which will usually contribute to at least a portion of most of our services. If there is a remaining balance, we can help you explore payment methods.

At Home Care

After dental treatment, cosmetic reconstruction, or crown replacement, it is normal to experience hot and cold sensitivity and your gums may be sore for a few days. Warm salty water rinses three times a day will reduce pain and swelling. Mix one teaspoon of salt to eight ounces of water for the rinse. Ibuprofen may ease discomfort as well.

Temporary crowns may come off. Call our office or the emergence number, 980-241-5514, if this occurs. Bring the temporary to the office and it can be recemented.

After tooth extractions follow the list of instructions given to you at your appointment. Make sure to continue antibiotics that were prescribed until they are gone. If swelling occurs, place ice pack to the swollen area and if needed call the office or the emergency number, 980-241-5514.
